Professional Swine Management is looking
for a Farrowing Manager for our 6400 sow farrow
to finish unit located in West Central Illinois.
This manager will work with the Production
Manager as well as the farm manager and will
be responsible for carrying out the day-to
day activities in the Farrowing area. Some
of the activities the manager will be responsible
for include:
1. Assisting sows during farrowing
2. Processing litters
3. Ear notching
4. Farrowing area record keeping
5. Treating sick animals
6. Feeding of sows/piglets
7. Weaning
8. Washing and general maintenance of farrowing
rooms
This is a great position for those with proven
production skills. The ideal individual will
be good at detail work as well as managing
