ISS, LLC is currently offering opportunities to both undergraduate and veterinary students to participate in an internship program. In addition, we are also providing a continual education program for interested companies.
Our internship and continuing education programs will provide interns with the opportunity to learn how to conduct commericial research trials. Our focus is currently with swine nutrition, but interns can have independent trials focusing on production, behavior, environmental, or economics. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to learn modern farm practices by working side-by-side with production and farm managers and swine veterinarians. Each intern will be required to complete an independent research project focused around swine production and dependent on a intern’s particular interest. The results of the research will be presented at the end of internship to the swine consultants and production managers.
We are looking for independent people who are interested in various aspects of swine production ranging from nutrition, animal behavior, agriculture business, engineering, to manure management.
Summer Internship Program
Our summer internship program is open to all full-time college and veterinary students who have completed at least one full year of school and are studying agriculture or veterinary medicine.

Continuing Education Programs
In addition to undergraduate internships, we are also providing 2-4 week continuing education programs to companies who are interested in sponsoring their employees in a valuable hands-on experience program. Intern experience will be designed based upon each individual’s needs and interests.
